Greetings to fans, press and other readers. Despite a lack of proper news we at Velosipedska have written a quick update on our team. Even in less exciting times our fans deserve to be informed!
---TEAM NEWS---
Several sponsorship deals have come and gone, but we are delighted to announce we secured a contract with Pasta Soul Food Deliveries worth $50,000. Apart from some income they will supply our riders with all the carbs they need for a long bike race. Slobodan Meglenski was especially delighted with this new sponsor, saying “I always order Pasta Soul Food at home!”
In other team-related news, manager KrMees has been offered a job at the Macedonian national team. He accepted this offer and the team has approved his decision. The national team and our Velosipedska have similar goals and huge overlap in riders, close ties between the team and the nation can only benefit us both.

---RIDER NEWS---
The first rider to discuss in the Rider News section is Metodija Aksentiev. Our sprinting talent had an unfortunate encounter with some road furniture in Amager Gadeløb. This resulted in a shoulder injury that has forced him to take a week-long break. Luckily he is back in training now, we wish him the best in these first few days back on the roads. We are glad to report Metodija has become a solid sprinter with a strong power output on the flats. We will continue to work on his technique.
In other news, the team has decided not to sign local rider Boban Karcev. He can be a skillful sprinter, but unfortunately our small team does not have the means to invest in his talent at the moment. We are glad he found a place at Navarone_Cycling_Team, perhaps we can welcome him back in Macedonia in the future.
---RACE NEWS---
Our race results have not been amazing these past few weeks. Riste Nikolovski had 2 off days in a row, and most of his teammates have suffered mechanicals or other issues in the past few races. Luck hasn’t been on our side, but we are glad that we have this bad luck streak in the smaller races.
Apart from those attempts, our riders have been racing some smaller races to train and build team spirit. We haven’t gotten any results in any of those races, but the experience was great.
We want to finish the season on a high note with a good result in the Bali Classic. Let’s hope Riste and his teammates can shake off the negatives and get a nice result there. We are, as always, looking forward to seeing the Vergina Star along the course!
That’s all for today!
Kind regards,
-KrMees-

Be strong . I think div 6 and div 5 is quite a challenge ; div 7 and 8 gives more chance for victories with the right tactics for teams of our level.
Great update, I'm sure you have your fingers crossed that Aksentiev maxes high. Could be quite the sprinter! Good luck with the National Team!
Looks Aksentiev is on his solid way to the top, he looks pretty nice. I hope my man Kabbah can fight against him in the future.
